A World Mission Initiative conference at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary April 8-9.
Join with hundreds of other mission leaders in our region to share ideas, encouragement, and connections! Dozens of professional mission leaders will be hosting workshops to equip you for God’s mission in your neighborhood and beyond. Browse through the mission fair to connect with organizations that are participating in God’s mission as we are sent into the world.
Workshops
Participants can choose to attend three of the twenty workshops that will be offered.

Some topics include: worship design; the Business as Mission movement; the challenge of consumerism; community engagement; human trafficking; PCUSA partnerships in the Horn of Africa; and community health evangelism.

Who is Alan Hirsch?

Alan Hirsch is the missiologist who co-wrote The Shaping of Things to Come, a book that inspired Jeff and Jim when they started HMBFC.

He has also written The Forgotten Ways and ReJesus: A Wild Messiah for a Missional Church among others.

He will offer three keynote addresses and a workshop during the conference, as well as a pre-
conference focus group for pastors and seminary students.
Registration

Registration includes three keynote presentations with Alan Hirsch, three workshops, and two meals.  The normal price is $75, but because HMBFC is a church sponsor of the event our folks qualify for a group discount.
