Hi all! My name is Erin (they/them) and I recently started working here as HMBFC's Office Manager! Sending this e-blast with hopes of letting you get to know me a little better if you weren't at the all church meeting, it's so nice to be here :)
I graduated from Grove City College in May 2018 with a degree in Business Management and a Psychology minor. Since graduating I've made the decision to pursue a degree in nursing from Duquesne. I moved to Pittsburgh in June in time for my girlfriend to start seminary at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. When I'm not at HMBFC I work for a tech start up and baby or dog sit!
I love working with my hands and frequently pursue knitting, wheel throwing, and screen printing to keep busy while I watch Brooklyn 99 or The Good Place. My passions include advent, rights for trans poc, and hosting people in my 300 sq ft apartment. And in true Mr. Rogers fashion, "I like you just the way you are"!

1pm. Jim Henson’s classic has been remastered and is being shown at South Side Works. Join HMBFC after the morning service to attend this classic program and get into the Christmas spirit.
National Homeless Persons Memorial Day // FRIDAY, DEC 21
Every year on the winter solstice and the longest night of the year, Operation Safety Net (OSN) organizes a candlelight memorial service to remember those who have died while living on the streets of Pittsburgh during the previous year. Contact Scot Hines for more information. 6 pm.
Christmas Eve Eve // SUNDAY, DEC 23
Our annual eve eve service will happen in the morning this year, but will still have a dramatic flair with a special presentation of ‘The InnKeepers Dream’ performed by pastor Jeff. 10:30 am.

Come and contemplate the incarnation of God’s love with traditional carols and candlelight. 8 pm.
