Welcome Rev. Liddy Barlow back to Hot Metal!
Pastor Sally Jo is taking a well-deserved holiday, and we are excited to have Rev. Barlow fill in for us! She has previously been a guest pastor at the old building. Rev. Barlow is the executive minister of the Christian Associates of Southwest PA. She works to bring Christians of all traditions together to make visible our true unity as the Body of Christ.

The weekend of the retreat, we will still have 10:30am services. You are welcome to come join everyone at Antiochian Village - or on Zoom. Just don't go to the Spartan Center, or you will be disappointed.

For years, Fishes & Loaves Cooperative Ministries has been providing free groceries to Hazelwood neighbors in the very space we worship in, and Hot Metallers have begun serving breakfast to those waiting in line. No RSVP is needed, just arrive ready to assist neighbors with love, dignity, and a passion for donuts. (Breakfast at 7:30, food distribution at 9 AM, volunteer for either or both.)

If you’ve ever wondered what to do when the news feels overwhelming, this is one place to start. Every Friday, we choose to be present in a place where fear and uncertainty are very real. We gather outside the ICE office on the South Side with Casa San José and other faith communities to sing, to pray, and to remind all of Pittsburgh that our faith demands dignity for all people.

A gathering for kids ages 10-15 to build friendships and feel at home in our community. With caring adults alongside them, it’s a place where connections deepen and everyone belongs. This month, we'll already be at our Congregation Retreat and kids will get to hang all weekend long!
