Subject: Running Training

Hi Friend


First goal is to have you run for 30 minutes 3 times a week... consistently. Over the last 4 weeks, you've averaged about 30 minutes/week, from what I can see on Strava, not counting anything that is probably walking pace.


As you know, I'm big on not over doing it, so we are not going to go at it like a bull at a gate. I've increased your workload by 50% this week over your last 4 week average, so don't do any more than what's on the program.


I don't mind if whether you run morning or afternoon. Whenever you can fit it in.


Easy running only for the first few weeks. If it seems like you are handling it well, I might throw in a fast finish run in a few weeks.


Training App Access - Web and Mobile

I have set up an account for you in our members' area.


You will need to log in to the Members' Area of our website to view your training program, or you can download our training app to your phone. We use the Training Tilt platform, so you will need to search on Training Tilt in your app store.


Your login details for the Hooked on Running members area are:

Username: s.foda@stjames.net.au

Password:  SFresults2022


When copying and pasting your password, be careful you don't include any spaces. 


Automatically uploading training into the app

You can hook up your Strava account with our training app. You can see how to do that on this video


Facebook Group

You should also join our Facebook Group. It's a closed group, available only to Hooked on Running Online Coaching Members. The Hooked on Running coaches will be regularly active in the group, and you can gain lots of insight from other runners, plus share your own triumphs!
