Hi Friend
I don't think there's much need for me to pontificate on the year that was. Everyone experienced it and coped with it in their own way.
For sure, we're all hoping for a better year next year 😂
The one thing I would like to do is thank all our runners for the good humour and "give it a go attitude" which we took into lockdown. The constantly moving goal posts in March and April made it a bit tricky for Richard and me to keep our groups together. It was you, our wonderful community of runners who made it possible.
We truly do feel privileged that we are the ones you trust with your training, and always grateful that we get to hang out with such a great bunch of people in the course of our work. We can't think of anyone we would have wanted to spend hours on the other end of a Zoom call with more than you guys! Many of you have expressed to me how our Zoom running groups helped them through a very difficult time, so thankyou for being there for each other.
Right, put away the tissues and break out the 🍾🥂 because it's time to celebrate another fun filled year of running.
Last Session 2020 - Monday 21st
All sessions will run up to and including Monday 21st December
Please check your WhatsApp messages for Christmas celebration arrangements.
If you're not a part of your group's WhatsApp, probably the easiest thing to do is to email me with your phone number and I'll make sure you're added in.
2021 Casual Sessions Start 4th Jan
As we have done for several years now, we will be running casual sessions over January.
All sessions will be running, EXCEPT FOR Wednesday 9:30am. You ladies might need to have an early night on Tuesdays and hit up the 6am session :)
The fee for the session is $20, (preferably) payable at the session.
If there are any changes to the January timetable, they will be communicated via email, and we will post in all the WhatsApp groups as well.
Richard and I look forward to seeing you for the last sessions of the year. 🎅🎅
