Food Forest Installation Walkthrough at Meditation Mount - Ojai, CA | Phase O

Hi Friend

Last week we broke ground on a new project in the Ojai Valley. You can watch a quick video walk-through here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnLd2TFt-ds

This "Phase 0" food forest installation is the first component of our "farm-to-table" garden project to benefit school children, and families in the Ojai Valley.

Additionally, the space will be used to host garden meditation events for veterans as well as providing opportunities for veterans and volunteers to serve the community in support of this project.

This past week, we installed 18 trees including figs, cherries, nectarine, pomegranates, loquats, jujubee, guavas, mulberries, avocados, and lemon... and next week, we'll be planting more tree varieties including some citrus.

Watch our video walk-through on YouTube, and subscribe to our YouTube channel to follow along!

We are calling this Phase 0 because, the next phase is building a garden area with raised beds, food prep area and space for children to learn on field trips in the garden environment.

We're on a mission to shift food production to more locally focused, biodiverse, regenerative ecosystems.

This requires humans to participate as good stewards of the lands, keeping our soil healthy and nurturing a Soil Based Economy.

If you'd like to support our mission and the goal to overgrow the Ojai Valley with a combination of native plants and food bearing crops as a model of synergistically managed community ecosystems that support the health of the people and the earth, then follow us on YouTube, comment, like and share our video content when it posts to help our message spread.

Thank you for reading, and feel free to forward this message to anyone who may be interested.

Talk soon,

Mark
