Subject: [REPLAY] How to make better decisions for your music school

Running a studio that doesn’t depend on you

When you sit down to work on your school… how do you know you're working on the right thing?

Because most owners I talk to don't have an effort problem.

What they don't have is a way to look at the business and say, "this is the one thing that matters this month, and I can safely ignore the rest."

For example…

Five years ago an owner came to me with 350 students and told me she had a marketing problem. She wanted her Google Ads rebuilt.

She was absolutely certain that she had a marketing problem.

I told her I wouldn't touch her marketing until we built dashboards first.

Here's what we found: they had enrolled almost 300 students that year… against a student body of 330.

They were replacing nearly the entire school every twelve months... Ironically, her Google Ads were some of the best I'd seen in ten years of doing this.

She was literally throwing away $1000’s of dollars per month because she was trying to solve a retention problem with marketing.

She didn’t know because she didn’t have a framework for checking the health of her school or analyzing those “vital signs.”

Last Wednesday, Nate and I spent about 90 minutes showing music school owners exactly how to diagnose the health of their school.

We showed the handful of numbers that tell you what your school actually needs, and how to turn those numbers into a decision instead of a spreadsheet you never open.

If you missed it or want to go back through the dashboard and build your own… the replay is now available.

Here’s some of what we covered:

  • The bare-minimum dashboard you need... so you can stop drowning in numbers and see what actually needs your attention.

  • Why you should let fires burn in your music school! (SPOILER: because fixing the wrong problems can cost more than ignoring it)

  • The 3 C’s — and why collecting numbers won’t help if you still don’t know what to do next.

  • How to diagnose the real problem before you waste six months fixing the wrong one.

  • The benchmarks that tell you whether you have a problem… or you’re just worrying.

  • Why optimists overlook problems, pessimists invent them — and your numbers don’t care which one you are.

  • Why you can understand your numbers perfectly… and still have no idea what they’re telling you.

  • The 6-step rhythm for knowing what deserves your attention — and what can wait.

  • Examples and templates that you can use in your own music school

If you're working hard and still not sure it's pointed at the right problem — watch this one.

Have a great week,

PS> This is just a small taste of what Nate and I help school owners with in the Founder's Forum…

Every single school that worked with us last year made significantly more profit last year vs the year previous (ask me, I'll show you)

Would you like that result, too?
