In the old days, we loved hosting our yearly pre-Christmas "Secret Sale" for our newsletter subscribers. It was our way to say thank you to our regular customers by helping them to save some money before Christmas. This sale was also fun for us, as it brought a lot of our regulars into the store and felt like a fun social activity as well.We've missed events like this! I know many of you reading this remember and miss the secret sales too!
We've decided that we feel safe enough if everyone is masked in our space to finally bring back this tradition!
PLEASE JOIN US ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 10TH AND TAKE 15% OFF OF ANY REGULARLY PRICED ITEMS THAT ARE NOT "FOOD"! "FOOD" is defined as a nutritionally complete meal that you might put into your pet's bowl for dinner. (We always keep our margin for food as low as it can possibly be). Other edible things are on sale, such as Bully Sticks, Training Treats, bulk cookies, and bone broth, etc. You Clever Shoppers can save yourselves a lot of money if you remember to stock up on things you'll eventually need, like supplements, CBDs to help with stiff joints in cold weather and to calm pets when loud strangers are in the house, Lick mats to keep young dogs busy, (kitties might like Lick mats too with the very well-loved and seemingly addictive "Churu" moist treat). You'd also be smart to use the discount to get some lights to keep dogs and people safe and visible during evening walks, or to score a new bed or winter coat. For gift giving for dog-owning friends, now's the chance to get an amazing locally made Trailblazing Tails leash, or a TBT long line for those training young dogs. There's no brand of leash that stands up to the TBT for innovative design! Ask an employee and they'll show you its amazing features. You are invited to attend a candlelight vigil for Vivian "Gayle" Phillips, Wednesday December 21st at NE 44th and NE Fremont St. Last year she and her husband were struck by a car while crossing NE Fremont at 44th. Her husband Dennis spent a month in the hospital while mourning her loss. Dennis will say a few words after people gather at 5:15pm. Bring a candle, lantern or light. A moment of silence will be at 5:30p.m.
