Feel free to bring in your clean donations anytime leading up to the sale for the extra discount on April 25th!

We will be open from 10 am-to 5 pm on Saturday.

Details About The Sale:

- This is not a secret sale - you need not be sneaky at the register to get your discount, just come on in and stock up! Everyone is welcome, of course!

- What counts as "food" for the sale? Complete diets that you’d put in a bowl for dinner are food. Even though treats and chews can be eaten, they’re still eligible for the sale!

- Why no food on sale? We already keep our margins as slim as possible for your foods! The discount can be used for treats, toys, supplements, leashes, bones and other chewies, etc.  We have these sales to say thank you to our community for your support, and for choosing a locally owned, independent store!

- What sorts of items can you donate? For cats: small crates, litter, foods, metal or ceramic bowls, and clean beds are often most needed. For dogs: crates of any size are incredibly useful, as are clean beds and blankets, stainless bowls, toys (please make sure they are gently used and clean), treats, and leashes and harnesses of all sizes.

These sales are a great opportunity to stock up and save $$$ on items you know you'll use! These could include joint supplements, fish oil, Plaque Off and chew bones, or pick up that new leash and collar you've had your eyes on!

It's Spring! Don't forget to keep up

with flea prevention!

Prevention is key! Fleas are hard to get rid of once they set in (so much vacuuming, ugh!) For natural prevention we recommend adding products with garlic and/or brewer’s yeast to their diets to help change the scent of the animal so they are not as appetizing to fleas. For topical prevention, you can use cedar oil-based products such as Wondercide. These can be applied to dogs, their bedding, and other household surfaces. When it comes to cats, we don’t advise the use of essential oils due to their very sensitive neurological systems. We do carry a topical flea treatment called Cheristin that can be used for cats. Be sure to have a flea comb and shampoo on hand for emergencies!

Allergies too!! Don't forget to start before they itch!

Spring is here, which means we’re starting to see a lot of allergy symptoms. If your pet is dealing with eye inflammation or goop, itching, coughing and/or sneezing, even G.I. upset or anal gland issues, come chat with us! Most of these symptoms can be helped with our favorite herbal antihistamine: stinging nettles. Stinging nettles help lower the body's antibody response to the allergen. It's also one of nature’s multivitamins! We highly recommend making an herbal tea infusion of dried stinging nettles to add to your pet's meals. Ask for a "how to" handout next time you're in! We also carry many supplements that contain stinging nettles that we would love to talk to you about!
