Time to make that last charitable gift of 2023

Hello Friend,

The doors are getting ready to close on 2023, but there is still time to make one last charitable gift that will help us open countless doors in 2024!

As of today, thanks to many kind and generous gifts, we are just over halfway to reaching our goal of $25K for our last fundraising drive of the year! Would you help us get another step closer? Every donation, big or small, will be used to provide families experiencing homelessness in Butler County with the resources to open doors of hope for a more stable future.

As the year comes to an end, and you consider the many options you have for that last donation of 2023, we hope you will consider Family Promise of Butler County and help us provide local children with a home for the holidays and beyond. Monetary gifts may be sent by check to PO Box 95, Hamilton, OH 45011, you can donate online by clicking the button below, or you can text opendoorshope23 to 76278.

Whether you donated to, volunteered at, advocated for, or attended an FPBC event, you HAVE made an impact in the lives of these Butler County families and we are so grateful to you! Together we can continue the efforts to eradicate family homelessness right here in our community because every child truly does deserve a place to call home.

Sincerely,

The Staff & Board of Directors of Family Promise of Butler County

"I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things." ~ Mother Teresa

We recently had a family of 6 stay with us in our shelter program. The single mother came into Family Promise of Butler County with no employment, physical and emotional pains, and only $4 in her bank account. She was tired and ready to give up.

During her time with us, she learned more about budgeting, qualified for a housing voucher, found a good-paying job, and got back on her feet. Our congregations loved the family well and you could see the mom being transformed and restored. The family graduated two weeks before Christmas and moved into their new home. She left Family Promise of Butler County employed and had over $300 in savings.

But here is where it gets good; not only did she leave with some money in the bank, gainful employment, and a new place, but as providence would have it, a family from one of our congregations reached out to us. This family had a tree, lights, a tree stand, and a skirt to donate. The tree, along with some Crumbl cookies, were brought to the Day Center the very day the family graduated.

It is us working together as a team to create successful homes. We are empowering families. We are bringing forward change that leads to stability. We perform acts of kindness and love that only a team can do. Thank you for being a community partner. Your hearts for those going through a season of homelessness don't go unnoticed.
