As we head into our final quarter, we at Family Promise of Butler County wanted to take an opportunity to say THANK YOU to you, our faithful friend and supporter, for all that you do to help us keep local children and their families in stable, affordable housing.

Unfortunately, the aftermath and continuing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic continue to plague many families. The price of housing, gas, and groceries has reached new highs. In fact, according to an article in The Journal News, rent in Butler County has seen increases anywhere from 13% to 36% this year alone! Sadly, with the low availability of affordable housing, more and more families, many living in their cars, are coming to us seeking assistance.

With this “new” normal, we are so very thankful for your ongoing support of Family Promise of Butler County’s mission. Without your assistance, 558 people, real families that we have been able to help so far this year, would not have a home from which to catch the school bus this fall, eat a family meal or to have a safe warm place to lay their heads at night. 

The ripple effect of each and every kindness you share with us, be it volunteering, donations of supplies or monetary offerings, spreads far and wide. It is because of YOU that we can do what needs to be done on a daily basis.
