A Focus on Mental Health

Today, 1 in 5 Iowans are affected by a mental health illness. Chances are you or someone close to you is affected by mental illness.

Fortunately, just as there is cancer treatment, surgical care and resources for other health conditions locally, expert care for mental health needs are available at Spencer Hospital.

Spencer Hospital's 15-bed unit provides individualized inpatient treatment for adults. With just 28 psychiatric inpatient units in the state, we are committed to providing high quality, compassionate mental health services to citizens in our region and throughout Iowa.

Ladies Night at Bomgaars

The 3rd annual Ladies Night at Bomgaars will be held Sunday, December 2nd from 5-8 p.m.

For the ladies....

There will be a 20% discount off regular prices. You can also register to win gift cards as you arrive. The people on your list should browse the store ahead of time to make a wish list, and ladies, while you’re at Bomgaars you can make your own wish list!

For your local cancer center...

During this one evening, 5% of the total sales from the Spencer Bomgaars will be donated to the Abben Cancer Center. Last year over $1,000 was donated back in support of local cancer care.

P.S. Make sure your family makes a list and checks it TWICE! And, thank you for shopping for a good cause.
