Subject: Don't catch "The Rona" this winter and get your Vitamin D

Thanks for being here...let's keep the conversation going so we can all have clean, healthy food on our plates!
Now is the time to chase the sun...
Because summer is almost over and the days are getting shorter and shorter. Ugh...

Recently, I've heard that the importance of Vitamin D as it relates to the Coronavirus is big, and doctors are discovering that deficiencies in this fat soluble vitamin can be the difference between life and death.

And I'm not even exaggerating.

There are emerging studies that report many of the people who have died as a result of coronavirus were deficient in Vitamin D.

Yikes...

The truth in the matter is, most of us have no idea whether we are deficient or not.

Luckily, this week, we're talking to "Dr. Food", Dr. Julia Mason, who sees ongoing deficiencies in her patients. In this episode we're talking with her about how being deficient in Vitamin D can impact health outcomes - especially when it comes to immunity and "the rona".

Luckily, there is still time to soak up some of that end of summer sun, eat some foods rich in nutrients that help your body create and store enough Vitamin D for the winter so you can boost your immunity and give your body the best chance at fighting off "the rona".

Make sure to listen in to this week's episode to find out what are some of the best foods to eat, how much you need so that you can boost your immunity and protect yourself as we enter "flu season". As if, we haven't been in flu season all year!!!!

Oh, and you can also watch this week's video...and while you're over on YouTube...why not SUBSCRIBE to the channel so you know when I upload additional content!
