• Reusable plateware, cups and utensils

• A side dish or dessert to share

• Chair or blanket

• Face masks (if indicated by the CDC)

For those of you that are new to Friends Fest, this is FOMR’s yearly barbecue to celebrate the River.  During this picnic we pull our winning raffle tickets and some lucky person will leave with the grand prize of a new kayak, as well as many more raffle drawings and nice gifts.  You will hear about our stewardship efforts from the past year as well as what new activities are in the pipeline-- new volunteer opportunities are always available.

We will be following whatever the CDC’s guidelines are at the time of the picnic and we hope that the guidelines will allow this fun event to take place next month. The celebration kicks off at 4pm and goes until dark and will be held outdoors at Shirley and Stuart Webster’s beautiful river front property as we have done in the past: 111 Mill Race Road, Verona.

Please bring a dish to pass, your own tablewares, drinks and a chair.  We will provide water, barbecue, buns and a limited quantity of compostable tableware if you forget your dishes.  Please arrive in a party mood by car or boat if you’d like! Kids are of course welcome, but please leave Fido at home.
