Subject: Scissoring and straddling two-legged camels

Hi Friend

A recluse who hated to train won Olympic gold in the high jump by doing something never done before…

And it’s now done by every high jumper you see.

High jumpers used to jump using a straddling or scissoring technique.

This didn’t work for Dick Fosbury.

Because of his build, he couldn’t master jumping similarly.

Early in his high-jumping “career”, his friends bet he couldn’t jump over a chair.

He didn’t. Falling and breaking his hand in the process.

Reporters watching Fosbury practice said he looked like a two-legged camel.

A former engineering student, he decided to put his background to work.

He figured out jumping backwards and leaping off his opposite foot could keep his centre of gravity below the bar allowing him to soar higher than his competitors.

In doing so, he went on to jump 2.24 metres and win the Gold medal over American Ed Carruthers.

What does this have to do with you and your fitness business?

You’ve tried all the conventional ways you’ve heard to;

Grow your business.

Have a positive impact on your clients.

Help people get results.

And if you’re honest...

They don’t always work, do they?

Maybe it’s time you tried something different.

Maybe it’s time you embraced your inner Dick Fosbury.

Fosbury didn’t break the rules. He bent them. He did what was required of him to get the result…

And now every high jumper you see uses his technique.

Look for ways you can bend the rules.

When others zig, you zag.

We have recipe books, e-guides and graphic packages to help you stand out.

We are making it easy and time-saving for you to zag.

Let me know if you want to stand out from the crowd, and I’ll share some examples of work we can do for you.

Best wishes,

Naomi.
