Subject: Is the bar set too high?

Friend

Your clients have unrealistic expectations…

And so do you.

Look, you know any transformation under your guiding hand, whether online or offline, will take time.

And there are loads of mitigating factors to your client achieving that result.

What is their lifestyle, training history, mindset and so on?

The problem comes when your client doesn’t understand or care about these factors.

They shouldn’t have to.

That’s your job as their coach and trainer.

However, it doesn’t stop them from becoming frustrated with the process–especially if it looks like they’re taking a backwards step (you and I both know progress isn’t linear).

Your client's frustrations come from unmet expectations.

And while you can’t deliver them a result overnight. That's what they want.

You need to figure out how to keep them engaged and sticking to the process despite them being unable to see instant results.

It might be to show them what they’ve achieved in a short timeframe (are they now able to perform exercises they once were unable to?)

In reality, it can be anything which shows them they’re making progress–no matter how small.

If that little progress helps keep them on track and adhering to your plan, there’s more chance of them sticking around until they get the result.

The recipe books, meal plans and learning tools we provide are also a great source of inspiration to help keep your client's adherence levels high.

Tell me your client's goals, and I’ll recommend some of our products to help your clients.

Best wishes,

Naomi.
