Subject: Concerned about what other personal trainers are charging?

Hi Friend,

As a business owner in any industry, it’s always good to keep your finger on the pulse and see what your competition are offering.

What’s important though is that you don’t lower your prices just to be seen as competitively priced.

This is something I’ve been thinking about recently, whilst researching our competitors.

The fact is, there will always be a PT / business out there who is offering a similar service to you, only a bit cheaper.

It doesn’t necessarily mean they are doing the right thing for their business.

Time and again, we see businesses burning themselves into the ground by trying to be the cheapest.

Truth is this…

If you’re spending your energy trying to attract the type of client who wants the cheapest services and products they can get their hands on…

Then they really aren’t your ideal client.

Clients like this often require the most work.

They can cause the most headaches.

And unwanted stress.

Simply because they don’t value your time.

And if you allow your decisions to be influenced by what your competition are doing…

You are only giving in to fear and uncertainty...

And any decisions you make based on fear and uncertainty…

Tend to be bad ones

Think about this…

Why do your clients buy from you?

Most likely they are buying into quality, experience, knowledge and trust.

They value the relationship they have with you...

More than what they are paying you.

This means you don’t have to worry about being the cheapest pt.

Remember… You don’t want EVERYONE as clients

You want the right type of client.

Just a thought :-)

Best wishes

Naomi
