Subject: Come on Barbie, let’s go party.

Hi Friend

Barbie the movie cost a whopping $145 MILLION to make.

Whether you loved it, hated it, or have no opinion whatsoever…

That’s a huge amount to spend on a film about a plastic doll.

Can you guess what the marketing budget for it was?

(HINT: It was more than the budget for the film itself).

The studio set aside a further $150 MILLION to market the film.

There’s a lesson here for your fitness business.

Let me explain.

It shows how important it is for a business to be prepared to spend money on marketing.

The producers of Barbie could’ve waited for any hype surrounding the film release to build, and hope it translated into box office success.

That wouldn’t have been a smart move. Because, despite doing what some people say is a good job with the film, the days of simply doing a good job to increase your business are long gone.

Obviously, you must have a good product or service if you want to stay in business. Especially if you want to be around for years to come.

But staying in business based on your quality alone is unlikely—at least until you’re a well-established business.

I see it all the time when a fitness business owner feels they can grow their business or ride the rough times simply by giving a good service…

Or they see marketing as an expense rather than an investment.

This tells me two things about the coach.

They need to rethink how they view spending money on marketing.

Or…

They need to rethink the type of marketing they’re doing. (If your marketing is working you’d want to spend more on it as you’re getting returns).

You don’t need to spend loads of money right from the get-go. But you should be looking to have a budget to spend and look to increase that budget when you figure out what marketing works for you.

That’s why I’m a massive fan of building a simple and repeatable system. And you can do the same too when you invest in the Canva video recipe ebook.

And you can do so without breaking the bank spending millions, or even thousands.

But be warned. The price for the Canva video recipe ebook will increase on March 6th. When we’ll be more than tripling the price.

Until then, you can secure a branded copy for only £19. Click here now whilst it’s fresh in your mind.

Best wishes,

Naomi.

Ps. The new Canva pack is open for you to be able to customise yourself if you want to. Or we can do it for you if Canva isn’t your thing.
