A PT contacted me this week about our recipe book products. Let’s call her Jane.
She’s new to the industry, but keen to have a suite of nutrition products, so she can focus on other areas of her business and double the value of her programs.
I quoted her just over £500 for 3 of our biggest products (I included a nice bulk discount for her too).
She said she was keen, but asked if we could offer a payment plan spread over 12 months?
I declined.
But what I suggested instead was a much better, tried and tested solution.
A solution which would enable her to purchase all of those products for very little (if any) investment.
Run a pre-launch campaign.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again! A pre-launch campaign is a very easy way to get sales in advance of investing in our higher priced products.
Now Jane has already purchased our mini recipe book (which is £12) so she’s already got a great tool which she can use to get her pre-launch off the ground. For example, she could send the mini book out as a free teaser and encourage sales of a larger recipe book.
I’m looking forward to hearing from Jane in the next few weeks to find out how it’s going.
When I told her about our pre-launch guide, she could see straightaway that she was onto a winner.

With Christmas and New year approaching, NOW is a great time to think about promoting sales of a recipe book.
You don’t just have to ask your past and present clients if they want a copy…
What about friends and family?
Social media page fans?
Email contacts?
Local community?
Demand for healthy and delicious recipes is higher than ever.
And if people can get them from a trusted source (AKA YOU!), then they're onto a winner too!
