Jeffrey was born and raised in an Air Force family, before they settled in the Puget Sound area in 1966, after his dad’s retirement. Although a loving environment, it was not a Christian upbringing. After attending a few colleges, more for athletics than for education, Jeffrey joined the Air Force and made it his career, retiring in 1999. His whole adult life had been lived in a very worldly way and continued into his civilian life. In 2012 Jeffrey started feeling that something was missing from his life. He started attending the local Baptist church regularly. It took two more years before he accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior and was baptized in July, 2014. His life wouldn’t truly change spiritually until God put someone special back in his life by reuniting him with his former wife, Audrey. They remarried in November, 2015 and he retired in January, 2016. They moved back to Washington State where he and his wife began attending Northwest Foursquare Church in Federal Way. They become involved in the Prayer Ministry teams. In May, 2017 Audrey and Jeffrey completed the Fire and Police Chaplains Academy and became volunteer Fire Chaplains for Central Pierce Fire and Rescue. They live in the Parkland/Spanaway area with their three dogs.
