Merritt was saved during the Jesus Movement in 1972, and was delivered from a lifestyle of drugs and alcohol. In 1980, after graduating from bible school in Calgary Albert, he came to the Seattle area. The Lord super-naturally put him in the business world that year. In 2001 Merritt started traveling abroad, sharing the Gospel. He has traveled and seen people receive Jesus in over 20 countries. Merritt has worked in the retirement investment business for over 37 years.
