A Story of Rescue

At the end of each year at FFGW, we write and mail a letter - holiday greetings, of course, but also a story. Each year, we try to select a story that best represents our values at FFGW, which story shows how your generous support enables us to be compassionate at a level that lets us reach beyond just saving the "easy" cats. This year's story is about Serafina, a very special cat, about quite a few very dedicated volunteers, and about great medical care that your donations provided.

If it takes a community to rescue "a" cat, you can imagine that it takes even more to rescue twelve cats. At FFGW, we don't have to imagine - we know exactly what it takes... even when 11 of those cats are unexpected! Our year end letter explains.

It does take a community to rescue 12 cats. As we transition from the season of thanksgiving to the season of miracles (our resident kitties refer to this time as Meowycatsmess!), we're extremely thankful for your support, as fosters, transporters, bottle feeders, help in the middle of the night-ers, and of course donors. All of you are an incredible part of the miracle that gives Serafina and her kittens a happy ending.

Our partner vet Companion Animal Clinic is hosting photos with Santa - photos are free, with a donation to benefit FFGW!

Adoptions at Just Cats Just Fantastic!

We've Doubled the Fun

with two events a month!

Our adoption events at Just Cats Boarding Center have been extremely successful, both for FFGW cats in residence at the center and those kitties who come just for the monthly adoption events.

Just two events left this year!
