It might surprise you, but the first people to bring Feng Shui to the West were British CEOs.

In the 70s, these CEOs who had been exposed to Feng Shui while living and working in Hong Kong, and had seen the fabulous results, brought Feng Shui masters with them to the UK and had them work on their headquarter buildings there. The results were great.

Then in the 80s, American CEOs who had been living and working in Malaysia and Singapore brought Feng Shui masters with them when they moved back to the West Coast. They were happy to see their businesses grow exponentially as a result.

However, since then, something got lost in translation. And somehow in Western countries, Feng Shui had been reduced to placing Chinese trinkets here and there, making places look strange instead of great.

That is why, when I became interested in Feng Shui almost 30 years ago, I went back to the roots of ancient Chinese philosophy to figure out what worked and what didn’t.
