Not sure of what to put on your college essay? Here's 3 ways how to stand out from everyone else's: ⤵️

1. Be Authentic: 🫵🏾
First, choose a topic that is consistent with who you truly are. College admissions officers are interested in learning more about who you are as a person so don't be afraid to use your own voice, and sense of humor to showcase your personality.

2. Don't just describe your accomplishments: ✅
Instead of just listing out what you've achieved, describe what you learned from the experience and how it changed you. This will allow the admission counselors to acknowledge your overall growth from the experiences.

3. Write With the Reader in Mind ✍🏽
Be sure you can answer questions such as: Does what you have written make sense? Is the essay organized? Does the opening grab the reader? Is there a strong ending? Have you given enough background information? Is it wordy?
