Dear Families

For centuries, men and women have been persecuted for their faith. Their stories have inspired countless other Christians to stand strong in the midst of uncomfortable and life-threatening situations. In this Message of the Month, we are privileged to hear the story of one faithful witness for Christ in Soviet Russia.

Ivan Moiseyev (Vanya) was a soldier in the Soviet Army from 1970 until his death in 1972. In a nation that systematically denied God and removed Him from society, Vanya held fast to his personal relationship with Jesus. Vanya was continually persecuted and harassed for his faith during his time in the army. However, he remained faithful, even leading other soldiers to Christ. This first-person dramatization, skillfully done by Dean Kershner last August at the Northwoods Family Conference, will engage and challenge your entire family.
In the days we are living in, there is a continuing need to have people who will remain true to the Word of God despite persecution. We pray that this month’s message encourages you to stand strong for Christ, no matter the cost!

In Christ,

The Family Conferences Team
