Just as a car cannot run without fuel, so the Christian life cannot be lived apart from Christ. Scripture tells us that “grace and truth came by Jesus Christ" (John 1:17). Grace is the “fuel” by which we can live according to God's Word. Paul stated, "But by the grace of God I am what I am" (I Corinthians 15:10).
