Dear Families,
November is a special time for many families. With Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, many people are thinking about things for which they are grateful. We often are thankful for the many blessings we have—a home, family, food, health, etc. These things are often overlooked, yet they show us the way God wants to take care of His children. As God’s people, all of us will have many things to be thankful for, yet we also know that we will encounter trials and tests in life. Each of us encounters, almost regularly, situations and plans that do not work out the way we desired. Can we be thankful for these discomforts, unpleasant experiences, and even hard tribulations? |
