Dear Family Conference attendee,

In April we had an outstanding week with you and your families attending the Big Sandy Spring Family Conference. Following that event was another exceptional week in the Northwoods the first week of June. Now we have our final Family Conference of the year scheduled for August 1-5 in Big Sandy again.

Why do we have a Summer Family Conference in Big Sandy?

1. We want to provide an opportunity for people who find the summer season a better time to attend a week-long, spiritually motivating event.

2. Housing is more open in both our dormitories and cabins (all air conditioned) for those who find it hard to get available rooms for their families during the larger Conference in April.

3. The smaller attendance provides a better opportunity to meet and interact with families as they participate in the same children’s programs and sessions.

4. We not only welcome different speakers at this later conference, but we are able to also include our best video messages from the earlier 2022 Conference season in order to produce an impactful, Bible-based teaching time.

5. We will present the entire Affirming Biblical Foundations series here in August which only was introduced in part at our April and June Conferences. Your feedback and input will be invaluable as we launch this series.

6. We purposely schedule this Conference to run concurrently with the final week of Sound Foundations, our music program, so that at the end of the week, Sound Foundations students have an opportunity to share what they have learned through their final concert before a larger audience.

I want to bring to you two important reminders for those who attended one of our earlier Family Conferences in either April or June. All first-time families and veteran families of 10 or more Family Conferences are able to attend with no registration fee (a value of $250). We also continue our policy that any family who attends one Family Conference during the year may also attend a second one that same year with no registration fee as well.
