Dear Families,


The relationships between parents and their children are vital to raising Godly sons and daughters. Knowing their God-given design and purpose, Satan seeks to destroy these precious relationships, often through bitterness and misunderstandings. Be on the offensive against the enemy! On November 11–14, a COMMIT Conference for mothers and daughters will take place in Big Sandy, Texas, at the same time as an ALERT Cadet Service Camp.


Moms, join other mothers and daughters for a time of encouragement. Enjoy challenging sessions, sweet fellowship, and memorable activities. The goal of COMMIT is to help you and your daughters make Christ the first priority in your lives.


Cadet fathers, join other ALERT Cadet fathers and sons for a time of service. As you tent camp or stay in one of our low-cost cabins, serve together, and cook meals, enjoy this special autumn time with your sons as you seek to continue to win their hearts.

 

One benefit of combining these events on the same weekend is having Pastor and Mrs. Dave Schlagel to speak at the Veteran’s Banquet on Thursday, November 11. Pastor Schlagel will also speak to the ALERT Cadet fathers and sons, and COMMIT ladies will hear from Mrs. Becky Schlagel.

Opportunities to invest in the relationships that matter most will quickly pass; take the time now to make memories that will last a lifetime. We hope to see you in Big Sandy, Texas, this fall! For event information, see below.
