From the time I was a young boy, I have benefited from attending Family Conferences. I remember meeting older, Godly young people and looking up to them as role models. I recall times of encouraging fellowship, challenging messages from God's Word, and practical training for growing in the Christian life. When I participated in the ALERT Cadet Challenge, I was encouraged to grow in character and personal discipline as well as learning to have a ministry mindset. Even as I write this, many pleasant memories flood my mind! I am raising my own family now and am eagerly looking forward to taking my children to Family Conferences.
