Subject: Convicted of Murder, Exonerated, and Free: A Testimony of God's Faithfulness

Dear Families,

Have you ever felt attacked on all sides, despite knowing you were walking in obedience to the Lord? Larry and Hannah Overton found themselves in such a situation in 2006. What began with opening their home to a foster child and the child's unexpectedly sickness eventually led to capital murder charges and a life sentence without the possibility of parole for Hannah. The Overtons share that, as they looked back, they could see how God's faithful hand was with them through this dark time. Finally, Hannah was completely exonerated and released!

In this Message of the Month, Larry and Hannah share parallels between their experience of being falsely accused and imprisoned and the experience of the Old Testament character, Joseph. Similar to Joseph, the Overtons can testify to the goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness of God as they trusted Him in the midst of dark days.

We pray that this message, Walking with Jesus through Difficult Times, will be an encouragement to you as you hold fast to God while facing challenges in your life.

In Christ,
