During this Christmas season, a song often sung is Isaac Watts’s famous hymn, “Joy to the World.” Truly, when Christ took on flesh, was born in the little town of Bethlehem, suffered and died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead to live forevermore, He brought unspeakable joy to the world!
As Christians, because of the wonderful person and work of Christ, we can experience His joy not just at Christmas time but all year round! Even when we face trials and difficulties, we can still have His joy within us. In light of this truth, we are thrilled to announce our theme for the 2025 Family Conference: “Count It All Joy”!
The conference theme is based on James 1:2: “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.” Our hope is that this upcoming Family Conference will be a week of reminding ourselves to choose joy in each situation God allows into our lives. May God receive all the glory!
