Many events have been held on the International ALERT Academy campus this year. Families have enjoyed both the April and July Family Conferences, men and women’s Journey to the Heart, and the COMMIT Conference for mothers and daughters. Many shared how they have been strengthened, equipped, and inspired to continue fighting the good fight of faith.

| After these fantastic events comes Family Camp, October 12–18, 2019, celebrating 20 years! This week of fellowship and fun draws families from all across the United States for a spiritually uplifting vacation in the scenic corner of East Texas. Families enjoy time around the campfire, heartwarming conversations, and make many new friends as they participate in archery, rock climbing, rappelling, fishing, canoeing, volleyball, disc golf, special events, crafts, tournaments, and more! |
| | Speakers this year include Bob Gray II, pastor of a local Baptist church with a passion for outreach and the gift of sharing compelling messages of truth; Eric Ludy, senior pastor of the Church at Ellerslie and author of The Bravehearted Gospel; Dr. Lew Sterrett, a skilled horse trainer filled with an excitement for discipleship and offering engaging "sermons" from horseback; the Ron Hamilton family, who have been inspiring families with their music, stories, and encouragement through Majesty Music for over 40 years; and Tom Burch, our own Basic Training Chaplain, encouraging us with a focus on the Scriptures through the preaching of God's Word.
