Celebrating Success
Many Bridge clients aspire to hold a steady job, and work hard to develop the needed skills and experience. With the support of The Bridge’s Vocational and Employment program team, Bridge clients are able to achieve the goal of securing and maintaining paid employment.
At The Bridge we celebrate the stories of those pursuing this dream:
  • Bryan and Chris have participated in training to handle internal mailroom and messenger work, keeping our mail flowing and making deliveries around the city.
  • Clients like Diane pursue training in food service, frequently working large events such as the US Open; Diane is now studying for her Food Handler certification.
  • Some clients, like Arthur, work in the Urban Farm and Horticulture program, gaining experience in many facets of horticulture and training new garden team members.
  • Other Bridge clients like Robert find the stability to pursue degrees – in his case a nursing degree -- and build new lives and families.
We deeply appreciate your gifts that have helped The Bridge sustain the Vocational and Employment program and so many other aspects of our work. Your support for the 2017 Year End Appeal will make a difference in the lives of the 2,700 New Yorkers who receive services from The Bridge each year.

On behalf of all of us at The Bridge, thank you. We send our best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year.
