| Dear member,
The EUROPARC team is looking back on two great days of our online conference, but in true EUROPARC fashion we are also already looking forward! With this email, the EUROPARC Federation, on behalf of the Dutch National Parks Foundation and partners, want to formally invite you to the EUROPARC Conference 2021. The conference will
take place in the northern part of the Netherlands,
in the city of
Leeuwarden, from 4 till 8 October 2021. Read the message prepared by next year's host down below.

The theme of this conference
is ‘Tribute to our landscape’ | where
nature and people meet in harmony. Our landscapes, are part
of the most valuable cultural treasures of the European society. It is where nature and
people meet and interact in the past, present and in future. Unfortunately, not
always in harmony.
We all realize societies
in harmony with nature are crucial for present and future generations. The corona pandemic has
emphasised that more than ever. Finding harmony in the long run is the
challenge. How can we act to meet this challenge, related to nature, human
development, and sustainable economy? |

We will offer
fascinating keynote speakers, interesting
workshops anda great variety of fieldtrips
to Dutch National Parks and the amazing landscape of the Waddensea, a key UNESCO World heritage site. In addition, we surely
plan time for networking, meeting old
and new friends, and to discuss experiences. All National Parks and
partners are invited to present their activities at a marketplace. |

This is why we invite
you to actively share your experiences and challenges. Let us know about topics
and ideas that interest you. Which ideas and contribution do you have to
cooperate with us. Or do you want to provide a workshop yourself? Please
contact us under info@europarc2021.nl.

will find preliminary information, our promotional film and personal
invitation. More information will follow. We hope to be open for registration
in May 2021. Of course,
our European young people - our next generation - are also warmly invited to
attend the conference. The program will be designed to ensure active
participation of them. We really look forward
to see you IN PERSON in October 2021,
sharing a ‘Tribute to our European landscape | where nature and people meet in harmony’.

| | | General Assembly
The EUROPARC Directorate would also like to take this opportunity to remind all of our members of this year's General Assembly, which will be held online on the 27th of October. All documents will be posted here. At the
moment you can access the Minutes of our last GA meeting we had in 2019 in
Jurmala, Latvia. We will let
you know once all documents will be available. Password: memberseuroparc.
We want to
remind you, that according to our statute only the members that have paid their
fees will be able to vote in the General Assembly. If you
haven’t paid your 2020 fee, please make sure you do so till 26th of
October the latest. If you have questions or need any help please send us a
message at members.europarc@europarc.org. In a previous email you should have received the agenda and official invitation - if this is not the case, feel free to contact us under the same email address.
Regarding
Proxy Votes, as this year’s GA is exclusively online we are encouraging each members
to join, individually. Proxy votes
can still be brought, but please make sure-for each Proxy vote you bring, you
have a different device to log in to the meeting.
