EUROPARC Elections for Council and President
Nominate your candidates now
Every three years the EUROPARC Federation Council, including the President, need to be elected. Normally, elections would have taken place during last year's General Assembly at the EUROPARC Conference in Austria. However, due to the corona crisis an emergency regulation was put in place in Germany, allowing us to postpone the elections to this year. Additionally, we are now permitted to have online electronic voting for the Council and President election. Voting will happen during our online General Assembly on Tuesday 5th October starting at 09:00 am.

Nominations are now open for enthusiastic, interested men and women, from any member of the EUROPARC Federation across Europe.

Deadline: 30th of July. All information needed can be found here*.

EUROPARC Conference 2021
Join us online!
To conclude, please remember to save the dates for the online EUROPARC Conference on the 6th and 7th of October. This year's theme: Parks in the Spotlight Powered by People; Inspired by Nature. In many global and European policy frameworks Parks and Protected Areas have finally been identified as having a significant role. This is our chance to “shine” and highlight how things are achieved “on the ground” and to indicate what more is needed to enable Parks and Protected Areas to fulfill their potential and meet the challenges being presented.

Our conference will look at the practical management that turns political and societal topics, such as climate change, biodiversity restoration, health, tourism and economy (especially post covid), capacity building, technology, role of youth and agriculture into reality.

We invite you to SAVE THE DATES and we will announce more programme details and be open for registration in the coming months.
