Subject: What is the Impact of a Changed Life?

Dear Friend,

We are so grateful for how God moved at our 22nd Annual Conference last month. We have already heard some tremendous testimonies from individuals who were greatly impacted and blessed. Let me share just a few:
“I would say the presence of God did everything. It was like being before a mirror where my sins were exposed before His holiness. More than words, the presence of God did what He can only do.”

“Upon coming home, I have repented to the Lord and replaced the time I spent watching television with time in His word. Just in these few days God has really given me a sense of peace when I open the word. I am beyond grateful for the Conference this year, and we are looking forward to next year!”

“The conference was everything my husband and I needed to hear. … During the conference all the speakers seemed to be talking directly to us and our situation. Kathy seemed to be speaking directly to my heart. …that I need to seek God's face and find the safety of the ark in Jesus to face trials and suffering. … Nate penetrated our hearts when he preached to trust God even when He seems unfaithful. We thank God for preparing us to endure our loss and know that He is faithful in life and even in death. Thank you, Pure life for your faithfulness.”

And I could share many more. What an awesome thing, just to get a glimpse of how God moved in response to all the praying and fasting that went on prior to the Conference. We know the Lord met each one where they were at, and we are believing for lasting fruit in those who responded. It was so refreshing to spend the weekend in God’s presence. The worship and messages all testified to who God is and what He wants to do in and through His people in the days ahead.

Like Moses and the children of Israel, we need God’s presence in our lives in a very real way. For those of you who were able to be with us, I pray that the Lord will continue what He started doing in you at the Conference and that as your Self life continues to decrease you will find Him increasing more and more inside of you. If you were not able to join us this year, I hope you will get a copy of the Conference messages when they become available in the next few weeks and that they will strengthen your faith.

At the end of the Conference, we held our Alumni & Friends Benefit Banquet where we enjoyed good fellowship and food, the renowned residential student choir, and for the first time ever, an incredible performance by our very own Pure Life staff quartet (The Puritones). And, to close out the evening, we watched a powerful testimony of how God’s work in the life of one of our graduates has had a tremendous ripple effect on those around him. You can view this wonderful video, “What is the Impact of a Changed Life?” here.

Lastly, I want to personally thank each of you who gave at our Banquet this year and helped us reach our goal! What a blessing it is to know that God has raised up such a strong family and support for us here at Pure Life Ministries. It is amazing to see the tremendous generosity of our faithful donors. We love each of you and are so grateful you are a part of our family. May the Lord continue to bless you and abundantly supply all your needs in Christ Jesus, our Lord. We hope to see you next year!
