As our world continues its descent into spiritual darkness, truth is needed like never before. So, when a long-time friend of Pure Life penned a poem bringing truth to bear on two hot-button cultural issues, we decided that we would share it with you.
Such Heinous ActsBy David Ravenhill
The World was stunned just recently
At Hamas and their atrocity
They murdered, raped, and hundreds died
They butchered babies while alive
Then boasted of their cruelty
Providing proof for all to see.
Not since the Holocaust took place
Has evil shown its devilish face
It’s hard to understand such sin
Can lie unfettered deep within
And when it does, we stand in awe
Such heinous acts we all deplore.
But watch lest our hypocrisy
Gives place to one’s duplicity.
We act appalled at what we’ve seen
On every television screen
Our polls reveal, tragic but true.
We favor killing babies too
And like Hamas we do our part
To kill each tiny beating heart
We may not do it openly
Unlike Hamas for all to see
Instead, we use Planned Parenthood
Our hands are stained with innocent blood
We do it all for selfish gain
And violate God’s holy name
Next time you turn on your TV
Don’t act appalled at what you see
You are complicit too, my friend
When all ABORTIONS, you defend.
