I wanted to send a special note to let you know about a major change happening in the ministry. After 17 years of faithfully serving at Pure Life, our beloved brother Nate Danser is moving on from the ministry.
While we feel the weight of his departure, we’re so excited about what God is doing in his life. Nate will be moving to Colorado, where he’ll be marrying the love of his life, Janna. We’re thrilled for him.
Nate wore many hats in the ministry, but two of his biggest were as the director of our Outreach Department and as the host of the Pure Life Ministries Podcast. But reflecting back on the past five years, I can see how God has been quietly preparing us for this moment.
When I came on staff in 2019, I still had a lot of growing up to do—both as a man and as a Christian. Nate walked with me through many difficult seasons of growth, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today without his example and guidance.
But I have also had the privilege of working closely with Nate professionally and learning from his wisdom and experience. So moving forward, I will be stepping in to oversee our Outreach Department. I look forward to building on what he and others have built for the glory of God.
Additionally, many of you have come to know Nate as the face and voice of the ministry through our podcast. And while his departure will represent a big change for the podcast, Steve Gallagher, our leadership team and myself are confident that Joshua Bergstrom is the right man to step in and fill this important role.
Josh came through our Residential Program 17 years ago and has served on staff for the past 11 years. He’s produced many of our most impactful projects including the 20 Truths Series, testimony videos, conference trailers, and more. Josh brings spiritual depth, maturity, and a love for teaching and God’s Word that we are confident will bless all of our listeners.
Our team is already seeking the Lord for what He has in store for us in 2026. Please keep us in your prayers as we look to the future, trusting that God’s hand is faithfully leading every step of the way.
