New podcast and your top tips for travelling with chronic illness.
Hey Friend,

I hope this email finds your symptoms as low as possible and your energy levels as high as they can be right now.

I have to say, my overall energy has been a bit more on the lower side for the past few months but, that's just the way living with chronic illness rolls.

I managed to get a new podcast recorded and writing to you is my last step of that process but also Friend, I wanted to pick your brain a little about something that is definitely not in my area of expertise!

One of the 'Ask Kerry Q & A' questions that I didn't get around to answering because of an energy crash (and which may be a very fortuitous outcome) is this:

How can you begin to safely and comfortably travel again after you have become chronically ill?

I am not much of a traveler at all really and even before chronic illness I had only been overseas three times in my life and did some local holidays with my children when they were young.

The travel bug never really bit me and I am quite happy to keep to a local get away within 3 to 6 hours drive away from home and even then, it takes a lot of planning and organisation to manage this, find suitable accomodation and bring all my food, some cooking utensils and my medical supplies with me.

As a very contented little homebody, I am probably not the best placed to advise on this question, but maybe you are?

So, if this is you Friend and you are still traveling, or you have some tried and tested traveling with chronic illness experience up your sleeve then please, hit reply to this email and share it with me!

I am happy to keep your name completely anonymous if you choose or, to credit you on the podcast for your pearls of travel wisdom advice.

Either way, your experience could be absolutely invaluable to someone out there who is feeling too overwhelmed to even know where to begin when it comes to planning to travel again.

If you can advise me on this topic, I would SO appreciate it.

New Podcast. Ask Kerry Q & A Part 2.

I asked my email and social media communities a while back to ask me anything about the experience of chronic illness that they were struggling with to see if I could help and in this episode, I am back with part 2.

I was planning to answer three questions this time but unfortunately, I was running out of energy towards the end of recording and had to leave the last one for now.

I will circle back to it another time as I think that topic deserves it's own podcast and I plan on getting tips and strategies from more seasoned travellers than myself.

In this episode I speak to:

How do you deal with a sleepless night or nights?

and

I'm not doing fun things, like creative stuff because I'm always stuck in the rip tide and just trying to keep my head above water. It's exhausting and depressing.

Have a listen and please share this if it can help your friends or your chronic illness communities.

I would so appreciate it if you can leave a positive review for my podcast on your favorite podcast player!
