Chronic illness and Boundaries.
Dear Friend,

Well, l have just published my final podcast episode for this year and as usual, I wanted you to be one of the first to know as this one may be very relevant for you right now with the Holidays looming so close.

The holiday season and especially the New Year can be such a triggering day for so many of us.

The media visions of happy, loving families, the gifts, the magic and all the connection can leave you feeling even more isolated, unsupported and alone than ever before, so it's no wonder that we see a big rise in things like domestic violence, accidents and deaths.

Which is why I want this final podcast for the year to give you some practical skills and support to start putting yourself first, set your boundaries to protect your health and energy and make the most of the season.

This is my final working week for this year and I am looking forward to having two weeks to myself with no agenda but to relax and enjoy.

Ahhhh! I can feel my body relaxing more just by thinking about it.

In a new post chronic illness holiday tradition, I will be having my little family here for our Christmas lunch on Christmas Eve and I can't wait for our first family catch up now that both my boys are living independently.

There will be extra big hugs on offer for sure!

New Podcast: Chronic illness and Boundaries.

Having good boundaries in our relationships at any time are essential, but during the holiday season, they take on a much bigger importance!

There are so many expectations, pressures and emotions that only happen during the Holidays and New Years Eve that are a sure fire way to ramp up your anxiety and guilt and send you crashing into a major flare that can leave you on the sidelines for days, weeks or even longer.

When it comes to chronic illness, there are two key foundations that I use to not only feel good about setting boundaries, but start keeping them guilt free.

In this last podcast of the year for 2023, I walk you through what those foundations are, give clear examples of why and how they work and tell you practical ways you can start thinking about what boundaries you can start setting in place to better protect your precious health and energy.

All this and so much more in episode 13!
