How are you doing and podcast episode 4.
Hey Friend,

First things first, I wanted to check in with you and see how you are doing.

To be completely honest, I'm getting pretty sick of the whole Corona virus posts and very much wishing that Facebook would come up with a filter so that I could block every post that mentions the words!

Over the past 4 weeks, I have watched as all of the lock downs of ports and countries appeared and with each one, my dream cruise holiday that was to be happening on April 17th has slowly slipped away, bit by bit.

We have been going through the process of trying to recover the money we have spent and so far, thank goodness, we have been able to transfer most of it across to another, better cruise for the same time next year and while it has been disappointing, it was out of my control and ultimately turned out for the best.

Now I am focussing on getting fully back into work mode, getting things done, opening up more Discovery Sessions and taking on more new clients in April.

I have also been doing lots of biting my tongue at some of the complaints my friends on social media have been making because let's face it, pretty much none of this is new to us.

In some ways, I feel like I have been training for this for the last 5 years.

But what I have seen that I really want to capitalise on and am going to do with my own friends and family, is take the opportunity that this creates to build an empathy bridge between my life with chronic illness and their own fears around their health and how uncertain and afraid they feel right now.

There are so many ways that we can use this situation to create some more understanding of our lives with chronic illness because suddenly, they are all getting an insight into just how much our own lives have changed and how we feel.

So that is what this podcast episode is all about: Corona Virus, Conversations and Opportunities.
