Hi Friend,
I hope this email finds you with good energy and low symptoms.
Firstly, thank you for the empathy and support for what we are going through with Dad.
He is still with us but each day we see him go a little further down and he has told us that he is ready to go.
Now it is just waiting for his body to align with his wishes and for his sake, I support that wish so that he can be at peace.
Luckily I was able to surprise him with a visit from my boys last week and the memories of the joy on his face when he saw them will stay with me for a long time.
Thank you also for the great questions for my podcast Q & A. I have enough now to do another 3 podcasts and helps me in my goal to continue to make podcasts that inform, support and validate our experiences with chronic illness.
New Podcast. In this episode I answer questions from my chronic illness community including:
Can you speak to the cost of the unique stressors in chronic illness including not being able to trust the guidance of doctors, trying to resolve health problems alone and how do you cope when taking expert advice goes badly for you?
How do you revise your story of self, worth and identity when illness has stripped it away?
and
Are your Discovery Sessions or services some kind of scam?
You asked, I answered so lets get into all the complexities, challenges and potential solutions together.
Make sure you listen and share and if you want to help me reach more people who need to hear this, I would so appreciate it if you would leave a positive review on your favorite podcast player!
Let’s help educate and spread the word of the practical realities and emotional issues that becoming chronically ill bring from those who know it best.
It is only by sharing our stories and experiences that we can help someone else know that they are not alone when it comes to chronic illness.
