Hey Friend
I apologise for the length of time it's been since I got in touch with you, but I assure you I have a great excuse!
You see, I've been working really hard on creating a training especially for an expert like you!
I am 100% confident you will love this training as it's going to show you exactly what you need to do in order to find your ideal clients fast.
I am in the process of recording and I promise it will be coming to your inbox very soon, so keep a watch out.
In the meantime I was thinking of you and wondering if you've been struggling to generate clients organically online because 'just maybe' you don't have clarity or certainty on who you are really serving.
This is huge piece of the puzzle when it comes to generating clients online in a predictable manner and it's something that kept me stuck for a long time struggling and spinning my wheels trying to find the secret to the success I could see other coaches and experts having.
You may have heard this talked about over and over online but dismissed because you feel like you don't want to limit your market by choose one specific niche of people to serve. But the real truth is, when getting started with content marketing online, the first thing to do is identify your target market. You need to know your audience well in order to produce the content they want to see otherwise your 'messaging' will just get LOST in the crowd.
It’s important to know the demographics of your audience. This includes age range, gender, economic status, region, and so on.
But even more importantly, to understand how your audience thinks and behaves. You need to know their values, their personality types, opinions, interests, attitudes, their pains and their struggles etc and what keeps them up worrying at night.
We call this Psychographic Targeting. A good place to start are your current clients or audience. What common characteristics do they have?
If you have a social media following, you can also check out your followers’ profiles and look for patterns.
What if you don’t already have an audience? Here are some other ways to gather information:
- Look at the clients of a competitor who offer similar products or services as you do - Who would benefit most from your product or service? Whose needs does it fulfill? - What’s unique about your offering? Who would its unique qualities appeal to?
Use the data you discover to create a profile for your ideal customer persona. Give them a name and treat them as a specific individual.
Of course, your audience consists of various types of people. But to be successful with content marketing, you need to be laser-focused on the person who needs the information you offer the most.
Here is an example of one of my ideal client avatars (Life Coaches) who I love to serve and help generate clients for:
