The Arts Bring Us Together

This month, we continue to celebrate the extraordinary work of our members and how we work behind-the-scenes to support them.

Our mission is to connect and support creative community life through networking, professional development, marketing, and advocacy. It's what we do for all CAFC members across our designated 15-town region in Fairfield County.

Your dollars are at work supporting member projects like The Fairfield County Dance Festival, a collaboration of CAFC members East Coast Contemporary Ballet and Thomas/Ortiz Dance.

Connectivity Is At the Heart of Our Core Values.

When Executive Director David Green heard that two of our member dance companies were looking to expand their festival to six locations across Fairfield County, he responded by making introductions to leaders in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Norwalk, New Canaan, Westport, and Greenwich.

The Festival's expansion led to increased access for hundreds of new audience members in free open-air performances from Fairfield Museum to MoCA Westport.

ECCB Board President, James Napoli explains...

"We counted some 850 audience members at the six festival locations in total. The Cultural Alliance has been an indispensable source of information, knowhow, connections, and support."

We're stronger together.

CAFC further bolstered participation in the Festival with far-reaching marketing support, including event listings on CAFC's FC BUZZ and Hamlet Hub Local News, a featured CAFC "Spotlight On Arts & Culture" live radio interview on WPKN FM, digital communications, and social media exposure.

Your support continues to help us provide these resources, strengthening and unifying our Arts and Cultural landscape.

The results that you see in your community include increasing engagement, inspiring a sense of place, and fostering economic prosperity.

Support for the Arts Is Support for ALL.

Your tax-deductible donation will help us reach our $20,000 goal by December 31st. Please contribute to our Annual Appeal.

Thank you,

Cheryl R. Williams, President, Board of Directors
