Fairfield Theatre Company: The Warehouse

Over the last ten years, Assembly of Dust has crafted a unique sound that recalls The Band, Traffic and Neil Young. They took that early 70's Americana swagger, put their own funky spin on it, and earned comparisons to the next generation of Americana heroes including Ryan Adams, Mumford and Sons, and Wilco.  (More)

Science on the Silver Screen: Inception

Enjoy an afternoon at the movies with the experts! Movie screening of Christopher Nolan's 2010 science fiction film, with Leonardo DiCaprio as a professional thief stealing information by infiltrating the subconscious, followed by Q&A sessions with a scientist to explain what was right, what was wrong, and what was just confusing. (More)

Connecticut Ballet’s annual Summer Dance Caravan tour across Connecticut comes to Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts! Artistic Director Brett Raphael narrates a unique program featuring soloists and principal dancers, including contemporary world premieres and classical duets from well-known ballets, with music by George Gershwin, Bruce Springsteen, Riccardo Drigo, Max Richter, and Paul Winter!  (More)

As part of its exhibition, The Work of Love, The Queer of Labor, Franklin Street Works will screen Wildness, Wu Tsang’s documentary on the Silver Platter bar, home to Los Angeles' Latin/LGBTQ immigrant community since 1963, at the Ferguson Library and host a pre-screening wine reception at its gallery space. (More)
