Currently seeking participants
for cooking classes
Hello Friend,

E.A.T. Foundation is currently seeking participants for a series of cooking classes designed to teach cooking skills, foster "kitchen confidence," and explore various perspectives of how food can be used as a communication tool which brings communities together.

We are reaching out to you to point us in the right direction. If you, or anyone you know is interested in exploring culinary skills, sharing a few meals, and forming new relationships with people in your community, please respond to, and forward this email!

All levels of culinary proficiency are welcome.

We plan to shape the program around the goals and desires of those who participate, so this will largely be an iterative process.
Topics of Culinary Exploration:

1. Cooking skills (i.e. knife skills, using a stovetop, braising, boiling, kitchen set up and breakdown, dicing, chopping, julienne, basic safety, etc.)

2. Basic Nutritional skills

3. Budgeting & Meal planning

4. Exploring different cultures through food

5. Using food as a means of expression/communication

We know that this will be an exciting and fun experience for all who participate - we hope you'll consider joining us! For more information, and to get the ball rolling on setting something up, please reply to this email.
Know anyone who might be interested in food events, culinary classes, or just learning more about the ways food impacts our day-to-day experience?

Please forward them this email, and tell them to subscribe to receive EAT's communications!
