Hello Miracle Family,
Well, it's Halloween. The day the world dresses up fear and makes it look fun. But fear is no joke. The Course says fear is not justified in any form, and that means any form — not just the ones we admit to. If I'm afraid, that means I've joined with the wrong part of my mind. Period.
Fear is a trick. It’s a result of false programming, not something I need to feel guilty about. I don’t have to argue with it, figure it out, or make it holy. I just need to recognize it for what it is. And choose again. Like I said in class, fear is just a sign that I’m being deceived about myself. That’s all.
So if fear shows up today, don't beat yourself up. You’re not bad. You’re just being tricked. But the truth is always available. And the truth doesn't need your fear. It needs your willingness.
Here’s what I told you to do with fear this week:
Recognize fear as a sign of deception, not a sin
Stop trying to figure it out. Choose again instead
Don’t argue with the ego. That’s how it wins
Let your right mind speak the truth to you
You are not the fixer. You are the chooser
