Hello, My Mighty Companion,
As we move through the holiday season, I notice something that shows up every year. By the time it’s over, many of us feel tired. Not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. And it’s worth pausing for a moment to ask a simple question. What actually exhausted us?
Was it the moments of love, laughter, and connection with family and friends? Or was it the expectations we placed on ourselves? The pressure to make everything look right, buy the right gifts, keep the image together, and meet everyone’s needs. In my experience, love itself rarely drains us. What drains us is everything we think has to happen around it.
At the beginning of this week’s class, I focused on A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 133, “I will not value what is valueless.” This lesson reminds us that exhaustion isn’t a personal failure. It’s a clue. Often, it’s showing us that we’ve been investing our energy in things that can’t truly give back. The Course teaches that peace is the measure of value, and anything that costs us our peace is costing too much.
As we move toward a new year, it’s a natural time to reflect. From a numerology perspective, 2026 is considered a 10 year, a fresh start, and a new beginning at a higher level. The question becomes, how might you step into this new year with greater intention, valuing what brings peace instead of repeating patterns that leave you exhausted? For some, an astrology or numerology session can offer a helpful perspective, not to predict the future, but to bring more clarity to how you want to move forward.
