We're looking for applicants who are interested in engaging in long (many years) careers teaching in NYC high-need public schools. We're looking for those who have a strong social justice stance that clearly intersects with an asset-based appreciation for students, families, teachers and others in the local and school communities. We are especially looking from applicants who are from the local communities where they will be teaching - especially applicants who also attended NYC high need public schools.

Application Deadline: March 15th, 2021

Teacher Vacancies

Whether you are preparing to secure your first employment for the next school year, exploring the possibility of transferring to a new school, or identifying openings for the next school year, we would love to partner with you in this process!

Winter Wellness Series

Our Winter Wellness offerings are in full swing, and we've enjoyed the many messages of gratitude sent by all participants.

Please continue to join us for many more opportunities to fill your cup with wellness!

Special thanks to our partner, Success In Motion, for expanding our horizons and enabling TR@TC to offer this wide array of wellness experiences.

Note: Mindful Monday, Workout Wednesday, and Transformation Thursday workshops happen on a weekly basis.

Many of you have shared how your bodies have been suffering under the sedentary state of working from home. We are listening and are grateful to be able to partner with Ben Brown, a body worker and licensed massage therapist, to bring you a workshop that will provide you with many tools to help ease, interrupt, and shift physical pain. Please mark your calendars for a session you DON'T WANT TO MISS!

Missed the last session? Not to worry! Cynthia will be back for two more engaging, educational, and therapeutic workshops. Invite your students, their families, and your colleagues. ALL ARE WELCOME to this Art Therapy workshop!

Promoting Teacher Endeavors

We are thrilled to be able to support educators who are engaged in wellness practices outside of TC. This month, we learned about Joanne Edmonson a NYC elementary school teacher who has taken COVID-Era fitness to another level and is supporting many women in doing the same. Learn more about her through the interview linked here. In the meantime, check out some of the weekly offerings from her network.
